Terms and Conditions:
PICK UP AND RETURN :
All Rental equipment pick-up and return at HK Camera Rental Studio (Unit 7A, Chinachem Industrial Mansion, 202-204 Choi Hung Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong)
Rental orders are all on 24 hours terms. Meaning picking up on today 2pm, returning by tomorrow 2pm. Fail of doing so might lead to extra full day rental fee.
EXTENSION OF HIRE :
To avoid inconvenience to other hirer, any extension of hire must be arranged prior to termination of original hire.
2 working days advance notice is required when cancelling a booking. If you are unable to give us a 2 working day advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your booking.
Any shortage / damage / malfunction be reported immediately when possible or upon return of equipment.
PRICE CHANGES :
Rental prices are subject to change without notice and are quoted in Hong Kong Dollars.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT :
A deposit for the cost of equipment hired is required for each rental. Deposit and payment upon pickup of hire.
We accept credit cards, cash and Paypal for deposit and payment. Deposit will be void, refunded or returned upon return of hire in good condition.
The parties hereto expressly agree that the hirer shall retain the equipment for their own personal use and shall not part with possession of same or otherwise sub-lease, sub-hire or assign the benefit of this agreement to any other person or corporation with the prior written consent of HK Camera Rental.
Except for normal wear and tear of rental equipment. The hirer assumes all responsibility for damage to and / or loss of rental equipment. Insurance for full replacement value ex our office is the responsibility of the hirer, HK Camera Rental shall not be liable for any loss or damage by leasing equipment whether to the hirer or its property of any other person, firm or corporation or to the property of any other person, firm or corporation, nor shall HK Camera Rental be liable for any delay or failure thereof, or for any interruption of use of same or loss resulting from HK Camera Rental’s liability. If any, for furnishing the wrong or defective equipment to the hirer is limited to a rebate of the rental charged for such equipment.
The hirer hereby indemnifies HK Camera Rental, its agents and employees from liability for any and all losses, damage, injuries, claims, demand and expenses, including legal expenses, of whatsoever kind or nature arising out of the use and / or condition (including, without limitation, latent and other defects, whether or not discoverable by HK Camera Rental.) of the hirer equipment. The hirer will not assign, transfer or sublet its rights under this hire agreement, will not pledge, mortgage or encumber the leased equipment or its rights hereunder and the hirer will not permit same to be subjected to any lien, charge or encumbrance. In the event of losses or damage to the equipment hired, the hirer agrees to pay to HK Camera Rental, all costs and expenses of such repair or replacement, and to pay rental, at the rate set forth, for such period of time until such lost or damaged equipment shall be replaced or repaired.
